To download the source code for the Standard Shader:

  1. Go to the Unity download page
  2. Locate the row for the version of Unity that you are using
  3. In that row, locate the Downloads drop-down menu for the platform that you are using
  4. Using that drop-down menu, select, Built-in Shaders
