Compute Shader asset.
Compute shaders are programs that run on the GPU outside of the normal rendering pipeline. They correspond to compute shader assets in the project (.compute files).
Compute shaders need a fairly modern GPU and are only available when using DirectX 11 right now.See Also: SystemInfo.supportsComputeShaders, ComputeBuffer class, Compute Shaders.Dispatch | Execute a compute shader. |
