The Grain effect emulates the effect that real-world cameras produce where small particles in the cameraA component which creates an image of a particular viewpoint in your scene. The output is either drawn to the screen or captured as a texture. More info

The Grain effect available in Unity is based on a coherent gradient noise. Common usage of this effect includes emulating the apparent imperfections of film; common in horror-themed games.
