Unity では、六角形タイルマップ に加えて、Isometric Tilemaps (アイソメトリックタイルマップ) を作成することができます。アイソメトリック投影法 (等角投影法) は、X 軸、Y 軸、Z 軸のすべての軸を表示するので、擬似深度と高さをタイルマップに加えることができます。
アイソメトリックタイルマップは戦略ゲームでよく使用され、アイソメトリック投影法を使用すると、さまざまな標高や視線などの 3D ゲームの要素をシミュレーションできます。これにより、プレイヤーはゲーム中の移動や配置に関する戦術的な決定を下すことができます。
