    Shape the curls

    Edit the coil input curves to change the shape and position of the curls.

    To create curls, refer to Curl the hair.

    Change how curls fall

    To change how the curls fall:

    1. Select the input curve(s).
    2. Use the Comb tool to shape the curls. Adjust the Comb tool settings and click and drag on the groom.

    Change the shape of the curls

    To change the shape of the curls:

    1. Select the input curve(s).
    2. In the Attribute Editor, under Extra Attributes > Coil Properties, edit Natural Radius and Natural Pitch.
    3. Modify other Coil attributes as needed.

    Manually adjust curls with the Coil Manipulator

    To manually fine-tune the shape of the curls:

    1. Select the input curve(s).
    2. From the Wig menu, in the Coils section, select Edit > Coil Manipulator.
    3. In the Coil Manipulator tool settings, choose to edit the Radius Scale, Pitch Scale, or both.
    4. Click and drag on the circles to tweak the natural pitch and radius of the curls.

    5. Click on a strand to add more circles and adjust different parts of the strand. You can drag the pill-shaped widget to move the manipulator along the curve to a different position.
