Shader.isSupported
var isSupported: bool;
bool isSupported;
isSupported as bool
Description

Can this shader run on the end-users graphics card? (Read Only)

Returns true if the shader itself or any fallbacks setup in the shader are supported. Most often you use this when implementing special effects. For example, image effects in Unity Pro automatically disable themselves if the shader is not supported.
	// Disable renderer if material's shader is not supported
	if (!renderer.material.shader.isSupported)
		renderer.enabled = false;
using UnityEngine;
using System.Collections;

public class Example : MonoBehaviour {
    void Example() {
        if (!renderer.material.shader.isSupported)
            renderer.enabled = false;

    }
}
import UnityEngine
import System.Collections

public class Example(MonoBehaviour):

	def Example() as void:
		if not renderer.material.shader.isSupported:
			renderer.enabled = false
