アプリケーションの開発にあたっては、ターゲットデバイス上でそのプロファイリングを行うことが重要です。Unity エディターでアプリケーションをプロファイルして動作をある程度把握することはできますが、デスクトップ開発マシンとモバイルデバイスではハードウェアが異なります。このため、エンドユーザーのもとでのアプリケーションのパフォーマンスを明確に把握するには、ターゲットデバイス上でプロファイリングを行う必要があります。また、モバイル固有のパフォーマンス特性 (例: バッテリー寿命への影響など) は、デバイス上でしかプロファイルできません。
