The Asset Store publishing workflow

You can create an Asset Store package from assets that you own and make it available to download on Unity’s Asset StoreA growing library of free and commercial assets created by Unity and members of the community. Offers a wide variety of assets, from textures, models and animations to whole project examples, tutorials and Editor extensions. More info

. To do this, follow the Asset Store publishing workflow which requires personal information, information about your package, and approval from Unity’s Asset Store team.

Note: To learn about the legal requirements an Asset Store package must meet, read the Asset Store Provider Agreement and the Submission Guidelines.

To create and publish assets as an Asset Store package, do the following:

  1. Create a Unity ID
  2. In the publisher portal:
  3. Set up an Asset Store publisher profile
  4. Create a package draft
  5. In the Unity Editor:
  6. Validate assets
  7. Upload assets
  8. In the publisher portal:
  9. Submit a package for approval
  10. Check the status of an Asset Store package submission
