Create Paint Mesh Options
Add a paintable mesh to the selected Fur node and set the mesh's parameters.
Find these options at Wig > Strands > Paint > Create Paint Mesh.

| Paint Mesh Type | Select a paint mesh type based on how you want to edit the mesh. | ||
| Subdivided based on existing fur geo | Create a paint mesh based on the growth mesh and subdivide it if higher resolution is needed. | ||
| Subdivision Level | Set the subdivision level of the paint mesh. A value of 0 duplicates the original mesh, while 3 creates a much higher resolution mesh. | ||
| Generated based on root positions | Create a paint mesh based on the root positions of the strands. Use this property if you need a high level of control when painting strand attributes such as density. | ||
| Root Strand Ratio | The percentage of strands the root paint mesh will be generated from. With this value set to 1, the paint mesh will have a vertex for every strand. |
