    Select vertices to edit

    Understand how to interact with the SpeedTree Modeler interface when you need to select vertices in the context of Vertex Edit.

    The vertex selection method and tools to use might depend on the type of edit you need to perform.

    Make a targeted vertex selection

    1. In the Property bar, select the Freehand mode, and in the Vertex section, select Edit.

    2. In the Tree window, click on one vertex you need to select.

    3. To add multiple vertices one by one to the selection, hold the Control/Command key and click on each additional vertex.

    Select a vertex area with the brush

    1. In the Property bar, select the Freehand mode, and in the Vertex section, select Edit.

    2. In the Tree window, press your keyboard space bar.
      The displayed white circle represents the selection brush size.

    3. Click and drag the brush over the vertex area you need to select.
