映画においてカメラがストーリーを映すのと同様に、Unity において カメラ はゲーム世界を映します。シーンに少なくとも一つはカメラを配置しなければなりませんが、複数のカメラを配置することも可能です。複数のカメラにより 2 プレイヤーの分割画面や発展的なカスタムエフェクトを作成することができます。カメラをアニメーションさせたり、物理挙動を加えることもできます。考えられるほとんどの事がカメラで実現可能で、ゲームスタイルに合わせてカメラを標準的に使ったり独自の使い方ができます。
