Auto Exposure mimics how the human eye adjusts in varying levels of darkness. The Auto Exposure effect dynamically adjusts the exposure of an image according to the range of brightness levels the image contains. The adjustment is gradual, so you can mimic effects like being dazzled by bright outdoor light when emerging from a dark tunnel, or adjusting to a lower light level when moving from a brighter scene.
For detailed information on the Auto Exposure properties in Unity, see the Auto Exposure documentation in the Post Processing package.
