What's new
Version 3.2
Release date: September 25, 2025
Note: Asset Transformer Toolkit is the new name for the Pixyz Plugin package, since the 3.1 release.
UV Tool
Asset Transformer Toolkit 3.2 introduces a new UV Tool to manage UV maps for complex CAD models and multiple meshes:
- View multiple UVs simultaneously.
- Modify UVs with Create, Copy, Repack, Normalize, and Rescale.
- Easily inspects UVs with “Identify”.
Access it via Window > Rendering > UV Tool.
Ambient occlusion baker improvements
The Bake AO feature was improved to provide more versatility and control in your asset beautification process:
- Vertex Color baking: Now bake Ambient Occlusion directly into vertex colors to optimize performance and simplify asset management, especially for low-poly or dynamic environments.
- Bent Normals baking: Enhance realism with the ability to bake bent normals, offering more accurate lighting effects.
Auto LODGroup thresholds computation
The LOD Generator now includes a new option automatically calculating optimal LODGroup thresholds through advanced image analysis. This feature performs pixel-by-pixel comparisons between LOD levels to determine the ideal transition points, eliminating the guesswork from manual threshold configuration. By analyzing visual differences between LOD meshes, the system ensures smooth transitions while maximizing performance gains.
Filters
Tired of setting up Rules with complex filtering options? We got you covered with filter previews. All relevant actions (Filter on Metadata / Material / Name, Switch Materials …) now implement a quick way to preview and auto-complete your filters using your input model information.

New filters were also added to find duplicated GameObjects, filter GameObjects on Components, or on Active/Inactive states.
Billboards and impostors
Billboards are now easier than ever to bake thanks to gizmo helpers! Processing time has also been greatly boosted enabling faster iterations.
Impostors receive significant enhancements with a new projection method that delivers improved visual accuracy, plus a new Single Frame mode designed to boost runtime performance on lower-specification hardware.
New Custom Actions features
With the new CustomWidget and BaseAction APIs, you can now fully customize your custom Actions UI using UI Toolkit, build your own gizmo manipulators and get progress callback from the execution. The following illustration shows a custom action implementing a CustomWidget and a gizmo driving the Algo.SawWithPlane SDK function:
Bulk Folder Import
Streamline your workflow with the new Bulk Folder Import feature. Easily import all files from a targeted folder, combining them into a single scriptable object with unified import settings. Perfect for managing fragmented CAD/3D models efficiently.
