Transcode your video files

To enable transcoding for your video files, you need to change the settings in the Video Clip Importer settings. Follow these steps:

Access and configure the transcoding settings

To transcode your video files:

1. Select your video clip asset. The InspectorA Unity window that displays information about the currently selected GameObject, asset or project settings, allowing you to inspect and edit the values. More info

2. Enable Transcode.
3. Configure the transcoding settings in the Video Clip Import Settings.
4. Once you’re satisfied with your settings, select Apply.

Unity transcodes your video file with your new settings.
