Create Hair/Fur Options
Create a Fur node and set its basic parameters.
Find these options at Wig > Strands > Create Hair/Fur.

Settings

| Create Hair/Fur | Create a Fur node. | |
| On Mesh | Create a Fur node with default settings on the selected mesh surface. | |
| By Proxy | Create a Fur node with extracted strands from other Fur nodes. To use this option, select one or more Fur nodes and a mesh surface. | |
| From Curves | Create a Fur node with the selected curves and convert the curves to strands. To use this option, select curves and a mesh surface. | |
| Master Density | Set the density of the strands per square centimeter. Higher numbers create thicker hair, while lower numbers create thinner hair. All other density settings are relative to this amount. This property is visible only when Create Fur is set to On Mesh. | |
| Strand Ratio | Set the ratio of selected strands that generates on the new Fur node. A value of 1.0 generates 100% of strands. This property is visible only when Create Fur is set to By Proxy. | |
| CVs per Strand | Set the number of CVs on each strand of hair. A higher number of CVs creates a smoother curve. This property is visible only when Create Fur is set to From Curves. |
