Add a wave to your hair

Wig has an Eccentricity tool, which adds a slight wave to the shape of the hair. This helps you add variations to break up homogeneous areas of hair. The wave is random, within set minimum and maximum limits.

For more information on the Eccentricity Tool, refer to Eccentricity tool.

To add waves to your hair:

    1. Select the Fur node you want to add waves to.
    2. Do one of the following:
      • In the Wig Grooming shelf, select Eccentricity Tool.
      • From the Wig menu, select Wig > Grooming Tools > Eccentricity .
    3. Change the Radius, Falloff range, and Falloff ramp of the brush to control its area of effect.
    4. Change the options to control the look of the groom. For information on the Eccentricity tool properties, refer to Eccentricity tool settings.
    5. Click and drag to apply eccentricity to specific areas of the groom or select Flood to apply your changes to the entire groom.

As you paint, the Eccentricity tool adds the wave or helix to the hairs.
