Open dialog
Use the Open dialog to browse for, search, filter, and select files to open. You can also bookmark folders you visit often or launch the native file browser from this screen.
To access the Open dialog, select File > Open.
Bookmarks
Bookmark folders you use often. Use the add (
) and remove (
) controls to manage your bookmarks.
Search or filter files
Search for files by name or metadata and use symbols and words to refine the results.
The search syntax lists all symbols and combinations that the Modeler recognizes.
Search modes
The search modes change the scope of the search and how results display.
- Icons and Detailed modes search the selected folder and display thumbnails or file details.
- Browser mode searches the selected folder and its subfolders recursively, making it useful for searching large file directories. The results display as thumbnails.
Search filters
Select the search icon (
) to open the search filters.
Other than Filename, the filters correspond to metadata stored under each model’s Tree Info.
