Whether to compress the lightmap textures that the Progressive Lightmapper generates. (Editor only)
When this is set to
true, Unity compresses the lightmap textures that the Progressive Lightmapper generates. When this is set to
false, Unity does not compress the lightmap textures.
Compressed lightmap textures take up less space on disk and in memory, but may introduce unwanted visual artifacts.
This setting affects lightmaps generated by the Baked Global Illumination system. It applies only when using Progressive Lightmapper.
When Unity serializes this
LightingSettings object as a Lighting Settings Asset, this property corresponds to the Compress Lightmaps property in the Lighting Settings Asset Inspector.
