Unity에서는 육각형 타일맵 외에도 아이소메트릭 타일맵을 만들 수 있습니다. 아이소메트릭 원근에는 X, Y 및 Z축이 모두 표시되므로 타일맵에 유사 뎁스와 높이를 추가할 수 있습니다.
아이소메트릭 타일맵은 다양한 양각과 가시선(line-of-sight)과 같은 3D 게임플레이 요소를 시뮬레이션할 수 있는 아이소메트릭 원근 덕분에 전략 게임에서 자주 사용됩니다. 플레이어들은 이를 통해 게임플레이 중 이동과 포지셔닝에 관한 전략적인 의사결정을 내릴 수 있습니다.
