이 셰이더는 버텍스 릿 셰이더의 변형입니다. 빛나는 모든 광원이 이 셰이더에 의해 버텍스 광원으로 렌더링됩니다. 이 셰이더는 메인 텍스처 이외에 보조 텍스처를 사용하여 추가적인 디테일을 더합니다. 두 번째 “데칼” 텍스처는 알파 채널을 사용하여 메인 텍스처에서 보여지는 영역을 결정합니다. 데칼 텍스처는 메인 텍스처의 보조여야 합니다. 예를 들어, 벽돌로 된 벽의 경우, 메인 텍스처로 벽돌 텍스처를 사용하고 벽의 다른 곳에 그래피티를 그리는 데에 알파 채널을 포함하는 데칼 텍스처를 사용합니다.
이 셰이더는 버텍스 릿 셰이더와 거의 동일한 수준의 퍼포먼스를 요구합니다. 보조 데칼 텍스처로 인해 미미하게 비용이 조금 더 드는 면이 있지만 눈에 띄게 영향을 주지는 않습니다.
