3D アートパッケージの中には、Z 軸が上を向くようにモデルをエクスポートするものがあります。Unity の標準スクリプトは、Y 軸が 3D ワールド内の up を表すことを前提としています。軸を一致させる場合、 Unity では通常、回転を修正する方が、スクリプトを修正するより簡単です。
出来るだけ、エクスポート前に 3D モデリングアプリケーション内で、Y 軸が上を向くようにモデルを修正することをお勧めします。
不可能な場合は、さらに親トランスフォームを追加することで、Unity でモデルを修正できます。
これで、メッシュを正しい向きにして空の GameObject の Child にすることができました。Y 軸を上として使用するスクリプトを記述したら、そのスクリプトを Parent である空の GameObject に追加してください。
