    Learn

    Unity Learn provides free and on-demand learning content that teaches you how to use Unity for your projects. Unity Learn's content includes tutorials and premade projects for different game types so you can build on them and customize assets and the behavior of GameObjects.

    To view the Learn window, in the Hub, select Learn from the left panel.

    Featured tab

    The Featured tab displays content that is curated by the Learn team so you can see the most popular and helpful learning materials. To find more learning materials, select Visit Unity Learn.

    Recommended tab

    The Recommended tab shows content similar to Learn content you completed. To view personalized content on the Recommended tab, you must be signed in to your account. To view a summary of a piece of learning content, select the learning content's tile. The pop-up window displays information about the learning content, such as the required Editor version and project size. For more information, refer to Add Editor.

    Property Description
    Type View the learning content's difficulty (foundational, beginner, intermediate, or advanced) and type (course, project, or tutorial).
    Time to complete View the amount of time you are estimated to spend on the learning content.
    View on Unity Learn Access the content on the Learn website.
    Download project Install the project so you can use it in the Unity Editor.
    Open Select a project in the Learn window and select Open to open the project in a temporary state. To add it to the Projects window, save the project in the Editor.
    Forget After you have opened a temporary project, select Forget to exit the project and prevent it from displaying on the Projects window.

    Downloaded tab

    The Downloaded tab displays projects you have downloaded and installed to use in the Unity Editor.
