Obsolete EventSystem no longer supports input override for legacy input. Install Input System package for full input binding functionality.

Declaration

public float GetAxisRaw(string axisName);

Parameters

Parameter Description
axisName Axis name to check

Returns

float Returns the value of the virtual axis identified by axisName with no smoothing filtering applied.

Description

Interface to Input.GetAxisRaw. Can be overridden to provide custom input instead of using the Input class.
