Installation
Caution
This installation guide applies to Asset Transformer Toolkit version 3.x
, which is available under the package name com.unity.industry.toolkit
. For older versions of the package (Pixyz Plugin 2.0 and older), see this documentation.
Prerequisites
- A compatible version of Unity Editor must be installed - see Compatibility.
- From version 3.0 and onwards, the Asset Transformer Toolkit package is exclusively part of the Unity Industry subscription. It is what Unity calls an entitled package (or entitlement). A Unity Industry seat must be assigned to you and activated in order to install and use Asset Transformer Toolkit on your computer:
Warning
- Asset Transformer Toolkit is not compatible with the “Serial-based licensing” model, as this licensing model is not compatible with extra entitlements (which Asset Transformer Toolkit is).
- When using the "Floating licensing" model, the License Server must be up-to-date in order to contain the entitlement for Asset Transformer Toolkit. Follow the instructions here to update the License Server.
Package installation
To install this package com.unity.industry.toolkit
, open the Package Manager and search "Asset Transformer Toolkit" (or "Pixyz") in the Unity
Registry (detailed instructions in the Package Manager documentation).
Note
- You must have a Unity Industry seat assigned to you to be able to find the Asset Transformer Toolkit package in the Package Manager. In the case of a Floating license, you must also be added to the Organization that owns the license.
- When installing the package, two supporting packages are also installed,
com.unity.pixyz.unity-sdk
andcom.unity.pixyz.sdk-plus
, which must not be used (see their respectiveLicense
file). - From version 3.0 and onwards, Asset Transformer Toolkit is only available from the Package Manager.
Package removal
To remove this package (for example, to uninstall a previous version before installing the latest version), follow the instructions in the Package Manager documentation.
