public static void SetStringField(IntPtr obj, IntPtr fieldID, string val);

Parameters

Parameter Description
obj The Java object that declares the field.
fieldID The ID of the field.
val The value to assign to the field.

Description

Sets the value of an instance field of the specified object.

This is a convenience function that calls SetObjectField() with the same parameters, but performs the necessary marshalling of the string value.
