Description

Copy the required Visual C++ runtime libraries into the Windows build output.

When this setting is enabled, Unity copies the linked Microsoft Visual C++ runtime libraries such as vcruntime140.dll and msvcp140.dll into the build output directory. This lets the build run on machines that don't already have the matching Visual C++ redistributable installed. By default, this setting is enabled and applies to both Windows and Windows Dedicated Server builds. Disable it if you want to use a different method to deliver the Visual C++ runtime. For example, by running the Visual C++ redistributable installer from your own installer, or by using a distribution platform that installs it for you (such as Steam).
