Install the Dedicated Server module

Install the Dedicated Server module to build your application for the Dedicated Server platform.

Prerequisites

• Your system meets the server platform requirements.
• You have access to Unity Hub.

Install the module

To install the Dedicated Server module, follow these steps:

1. Open the Unity Hub.
2. Download and install the Unity Editor, or refer to Add modules if you’re adding the module to an existing Editor installation.
3. Select the Dedicated Server build support module for your target platform. For example, select Linux Dedicated Server Build Support if you want to build for Linux.
4. Select Install.

The Dedicated Server build support module is now installed for your target platform. You can configure Player settings and build your application for Dedicated Server.
