Web performance considerations

Enable WebAssembly64

Enable WebAssembly64 so Unity Web builds can use up to 16 GB of memory.

Unity automatically enables WebAssembly64 if you configure a maximum memory size of more than 4 GB.

To enable WebAssembly64:

  1. Go to Edit > Project Settings.
  2. Select the Player category. The Player settings window shows.
  3. Select Publishing Settings.
  4. Set Maximum Memory Size to a value larger than 4096 MB.

Note: When you enable WebAssembly64, Unity automatically enables Target WebAssembly 2023.
