Select the Box Fill tool from the toolbarA row of buttons and basic controls at the top of the Unity Editor that allows you to interact with the Editor in various ways (e.g. scaling, translation). More info

See in Glossary view, click and drag the Box Fill tool on the tilemap to select the rectangular area you want to fill.
Release the mouse button to have Unity automatically fill the selected area with the selected tile(s).
