The invalid memory access is performed on each platform as follows:
OSX, Android: Invoked using raise(SIGSEGV);
Windows, Windows Store: Invoked using RaiseException with EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
Other: Invoked using int* p = NULL; *p = 5;
