public void SetBuffer(string name, ComputeBuffer buffer);
public void SetBuffer(int nameID, ComputeBuffer buffer);
public void SetBuffer(string name, GraphicsBuffer buffer);
public void SetBuffer(int nameID, GraphicsBuffer buffer);

Parameters

nameID The ID of the buffer name in shader code. Use Shader.PropertyToID to get this ID.
name The name of the buffer in shader code.
buffer The buffer to bind the named local resource to.

Description

Binds a ComputeBuffer or GraphicsBuffer to a RayTracingShader.

The buffer specified as argument can be used only by the shaders defined inside the .raytrace file associated with the RayTracingShader. If the buffer needs to be visible in all ray tracing shader types (closesthit, anyhit, miss, etc.) then Shader.SetGlobalBuffer must be used.
