Description

Whether to enable the Realtime Global Illumination system for this Scene.

When this is set to true, this Scene uses the Realtime Global Illumination system. When this is set to false, this Scene does not use the Realtime Global Illumination system.

The Built-in Render Pipeline supports the Realtime Global Illumination system. The High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) and Universal Render Pipeline (URP) do not support the Realtime Global Illumination system.

Note that the Realtime Global Illumination system uses Enlighten. Enlighten is deprecated, and will soon be removed from Unity. For more information, see the Unity blog.

When Unity serializes this LightingSettings object as a Lighting Settings Asset, this property corresponds to the Realtime GI property in the Lighting Settings Asset Inspector.
