RayTracingShader.SetBuffer

public void SetBuffer(string resourceName, ComputeBuffer buffer);
public void SetBuffer(int nameID, ComputeBuffer buffer);
public void SetBuffer(int nameID, GraphicsBuffer buffer);
public void SetBuffer(string resourceName, GraphicsBuffer buffer);

Parameters

resourceName The name of the resource being set.
nameID The ID of the resource as given by Shader.PropertyToID.
buffer The buffer to bind the named local resource to.

Description

Binds a ComputeBuffer or GraphicsBuffer to a local buffer resource of this RayTracingShader.

The buffer specified as argument can be used only by the shaders defined inside the .raytrace file associated with the RayTracingShader. If the buffer needs to be visible in all ray tracing shader passes (hit groups in DirectX Raytracing terminology) then Shader.SetGlobalBuffer must be used.
