Smooth the hairs

Smoothing strands removes noise and damps down any drastic bends in the hair, smoothing it out along its length.

To smooth strands:

1. Select the Fur node.
2. From the Wig menu, select Grooming Tools > Smooth Tool.
3. In the Tool Settings, adjust the Brush Settings properties to change the size and strength of the brush.
4. Modify other Smooth tool settings as needed.
5. Click and drag to smooth the strands or select Flood to apply the changes across the selected fur set.

Tip

To keep the original shape of the strands, in the Tool Settings, enable Smooth Strands Settings > Retain Shape. Disable this property for more drastic smoothing results.
