    Rebuild by CVs Options

    Set the parameters to rebuild a curve using CVs.

    Find these options at Wig > Curves > Edit > Rebuild by CVs.

    Settings

    Property Function
    Rebuild Type Choose the rebuild type for the new curve.
    Uniform Rebuild a curve with uniform parameterization.
    Reduce Remove knots in the rebuilt curve. Applicable only if the removal doesn't cause remaining knots to move farther than the tolerance setting.
    Match Knots Rebuild a curve by matching the curve degree, knot values, and number of spans of another curve.
    No Multiple Knots Remove any extra knots created during the rebuild operation.
    Curvature Insert more knots in areas with higher curvature in the rebuilt curve.
    End Conditions Rebuild a curve with the same curve degree as the original.
    Parameter Range Set the parameter range of the rebuilt curve.
    0 to 1 Set the parameter range of the rebuilt curve from 0 to 1.
    Keep Match the parameter range of the rebuilt curve to the original curve.
    0 to #Spans Create integer knot values for the rebuilt curve.
    Keep Choose whether to keep the end points, tangents, CVs, or NumSpans of a curve when rebuilding it.
    Ends Keep the original curve's end points in the rebuilt curve.
    Tangents Keep the original curve's tangents in the rebuilt curve.
    CVs Keep the original curve's CVs in the rebuilt curve.
    NumSpans Keep the original curve's number of spans in the rebuilt curve.
    Number of Spans Specify the number of spans in the rebuilt curve.
    Degree Smooth the rebuilt curve by increasing its degree. Choose from: 1 Linear, 2, 3 Cubic (default), 5, or 7.
    Keep Original Keep the original curve and create a rebuilt curve at the same time.
    Use Tolerance Rebuild the curve within a specified tolerance of the original curve. This is only possible if the Rebuild Type is Reduce or Curvature.
    Input Curve Read-only information on the history of the original curve.
    Match Curve Read-only information available only if there is more than one curve and Match Knots is selected.
