Clump properties
To access the clump properties, select the clump curve set (wmWigClumpCurveSet
) in the Attribute Editor.

Define the frequency of the first component. Since the frequency of all the other components is a multiple of the first one, this parameter effectively sets the global frequency of the noise function. |

Angular Magnitude |
Define how the noise function is applied when rotating the vertex around the clump curve. |

Randomize Wave Length |
Randomize the wavelength of the strands by setting the minimum and maximum wave length values. The value applied to the strands falls between these values. This setting adds more separation between individual strands. |

Wave Length Min |
Set the minimum value for the wavelength of the strands. Lower settings make the tool apply more waves to each hair (distorting the hair more). |

Wave Length Max |
Set the maximum value for the wavelength of the strands. |

Randomize Amplitude |
Randomize the amplitude of the strands by setting the minimum and maximum amplitude values. The value applied to the strands falls between these values. This setting adds more breakup between the strands. |

Set the minimum value for the amplitude of the strands. Use a low value for a subtle effect or a higher value for serious distortion. |

Twist Degree |

Overshoot Threshold |
Randomly set some strands to be longer than the value set for Twist. |

Mirror |
Cause some strands to twist in the opposite direction. By default, this applies to an entire clump. |

Cause some strands within the same clump to go in different directions. |

Randomize |
Set the minimum and maximum values to be randomized using the Twist Scale Min and Twist Scale Max values. |
