RayTracingShader.SetVector

Parameters

nameThe name of the property being set.
nameIDThe ID of the property as given by Shader.PropertyToID.
valThe vector to bind the local vector property to.

Description

Sets values for a local vector property of this RayTracingShader.

The vector specified as argument can be used only by the shaders defined inside the .raytrace file associated with the RayTracingShader. If the value needs to be visible in all ray tracing shader passes (hit groups in DirectX Raytracing terminology) then Shader.SetGlobalVector must be used.
