Description

The option to allow packet fragmentation for a channel.

The transport layer has a MTU packet size limit of about 1400 bytes. This option allows larger packets sent on NetworkConnections to be automatically fragmented so that they can be sent with the transport layer. The limit for these packets is 64K. This type of packet fragmentation can lead to additional delays in the delivery of packets and additional memory usage. This is only allowed for reliable, sequenced channels.
