Gradient
Menu Path : Operator > Inline > Gradient
The Gradient inline Operator allows you to store an instance of a Gradient. This is one of the Visual Effect Graph's base Types. To modify a value in this inline Operator, either set the value explicitly in the Operator body, or connect it to a compatible output.
You can use inline Operators to:
- Store constant values (which you can also convert to Properties).
- Be the destination for a combination of values from different inputs. In this case, the Operator acts as a "builder" which takes individual values and outputs a coherent object.
- Cast between compatible types.
- Perform redirections in large graphs (redirect only one long connection instead of multiple ones).
