How the Repro Project Wizard works
To create a repro project, the Repro Project Wizard takes the assets required to demonstrate an issue in your main Unity project and copies them into a new Unity project. By only copying the assets required to demonstrate an issue, the repro project is much smaller than your main Unity project which makes it easier to share.
It is recommended that you open the repro project in Unity to verify that there are no compilation errors and to confirm that the bug is reproducible.
Repro project items
The Repro Project Wizard copies over some items automatically and lets you add other items manually. The items that the Repro Project Wizard copies over automatically are:
- All items in the
ProjectSettings
folder that use the.asset
file extension. - All items in the
Assets
folder that use the following file extensions:.cs
.dll
.cginc
.rsp
- Any Prefab Editing Environment scenes specified in Editor Settings.
- The Render Pipeline Asset specified in Graphics Settings.
- Any custom shaders specified in Graphics Settings.
