Upgrade Forma Render

By default, Forma Render saves data in your My Documents/Forma Render vX.Y folder. If you have upgraded your version of Forma Render, your data might be in a different folder and you might need to re-import your assets.

Shots

You can import shots from a previous version in one of the following ways:

• Select Add (+) in Gallery within Forma Render.
• Manually copyi the files from My Documents\Forma Render vX.Y\shots to the corresponding shots folder in the new Forma Render folder.

Domes

To import domes from a previous version, copy the files from My Documents\Forma Render vX.Y\domes to the corresponding domes folder in the new Forma Render folder.

Products

To import products from a previous version, copy the files from My Documents\Forma Render vX.Y\products to the corresponding products folder in the new Forma Render folder.

Batches

To import batches from a previous version, copy the files from My Documents\Forma Render vX.Y\batches to the corresponding batches folder in the new Forma Render folder.

Note: Batches are currently not guaranteed to be backwards compatible.
