Upgrading Forma Render

By default, Forma Render saves data in your My Documents/Render Studio vX.Y folder. If you have upgraded your version of Forma Render, your data might be in a different folder and you might need to re-import your assets.

Shots

You can import shots from a previous version by:

• Selecting Add (+) in Gallery within Forma Render.
• Manually copying the files from My Documents\RenderStudio vX.Y\shots to the corresponding shots folder in the new Forma Render folder.

Domes

You can import domes from a previous version by copying the files from My Documents\RenderStudio vX.Y\domes to the corresponding domes folder in the new Forma Render folder.

Products

You can import products from a previous version by copying the files from My Documents\RenderStudio vX.Y\products to the corresponding products folder in the new Forma Render folder.

Batches

You can import batches from a previous version by copying the files from My Documents\RenderStudio vX.Y\batches to the corresponding batches folder in the new Forma Render folder.

Please note that batches are currently not guaranteed to be backwards compatible.
