What's new in this this release?
This release includes several new tools and updates to help Unity developers, professionals responsible for product correctness, and technical artists complete critical technical tasks more quickly, so that they can spend more time creating.
Notable new features include:
WebGL support for mobile devices
Now you can select a mobile-friendly WebGL build profile in Unity Forma to create browser-based 3D experiences.
Forma installer
A new bundled installer can install all the necessary software you need to run Unity Forma, including the Unity Hub, Unity Editor, Unity Forma packages, templates, and sample content.
JavaScript API for WebGL
A new JavaScript API in Unity Forma for WebGL lets you interact directly with the 3D viewport from JavaScript. You can query information from Unity Forma to dynamically create your own HTML-based runtime UI. For more information, see Javascript API for WebGL.
Mobile-friendly runtime UI
A new system-based UI toolkit lets you build applications specifically designed for mobile devices and common screen sizes. You can adjust colors, fonts, and spacing with Unity Style Sheets (.uss).
