    BufferCapacity is by default calculated as DefaultBufferCapacityNumerator / sizeof(BufferElementDataType) thus for a 1 byte component, the maximum number of elements possible to be stored in chunk memory before the buffer is allocated separately from chunk data, is DefaultBufferCapacityNumerator elements.
