Prerequisites
Everything you need to know before you install the Asset Manager for Unity package.
Before you install the Asset Manager for Unity package, make sure you meet the following prerequisites:
Supported Unity Editor versions
- 22.3LTS
- Unity 6
Verify Asset Manager role
Upload assets from the Unity Editor to Asset Manager
Before you upload your Editor project assets to Asset Manager, make sure you do the following:
- Check your Asset Manager role. You must have a Contributor Asset Manager role. For more information on Asset Manager roles, see Roles and permissions.
Import Unity Cloud assets to your Unity Editor project
Before you import Unity Cloud assets to your Unity Editor project, make sure you do the following:
- Check your Asset Manager role. To access any Asset Manager content from the Editor, you must have either a Consumer role or a Contributor role. For more information on Asset Manager roles, see Roles and permissions.
Important: You can add assets to a cloud project, only if you have a Contributor role. You can add assets through the Asset Manager in Unity Cloud, Asset Manager for Unity, and the API.
